We absolutely loved this place! It is well maintained and managed. There is a great pool. It is only a ten minute drive to the best of Key West yet far enough away to be private and quiet. We hope to visit again in the spring.

Stopped here on our way to Bluewater Key RV Resort. Would have stayed at Pennecamp, but they were doing renovations. Glad we stayed here, though. The folks were very nice. We got site 48, close to the water. Grocery store close by.

Beautiful state park. Quiet, clean, and a helpful group of rangers running things. Take the hike out to the lighthouse. We recommend site # 7.

The plus side-- well run, good store, nice filtered lake with beach. The minus, fairly impersonal, crowded (granted,summer), nighttime security played "tough guy". Overall, seen much worse, good for Jersey, I guess.

Stayed here during the week, wed-fri. If you don't mind no sewer, we recommend the river sites w/ water, elec & cable. Pump out is available for $15. Everyone is very friendly.
